It was first performed as a stage play at VAULT Theatre Festival. It was shortlisted for the 2020 NETFLIX/ Edinburgh TV Festival Stage to Screen Award, and Finborough Playwriting Award.

Celebrate follows the character of Howard Gibbins as he attempts to become the most in demand funeral celebrant in the country.
