Lucy Wray (they/she) is a director, theatre maker and climate dramaturg, making work that is rooted in models of co-creation and exploring big political topics through intimate stories, games and encounters. Recent projects include My Uncle Is Not Pablo Escobar as co-writer/director (Brixton House, Winner OFFIES Awards 2024, published by Bloomsbury), FERTILE a live video game, as co-writer/performer (Colchester Arts & UK Tour), cli-fi podcast Rez High as director (audio drama serial, Rusty Quill), Ghosts as associate director/script editor (Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, Shakespeare's Globe). Lucy has been shortlisted for the Young Vic Genesis Directors Award, RTST Sir Peter Hall Directing Award and longlisted for the JMK Young Director Award. They make inter-disciplinary projects as Associate Artist at METIS and work with young people as a Forest School facilitator and RSC Associate Learning Practitioner.
